Evaporated Cane Juice is basically the same thing as white table sugar (sucrose). There is a very little step in processing which allows for them to carry different titles:
- White Sugar goes through an additional processing step (you might have guessed it the other way around).
- Both types of sugar come from the same crop (organic or not)
- Both are approximately 99% sucrose.
When we eat any kind of sugar our body calls upon existing minerals from our body (bones, teeth, other tissues) to help it to digest. Not good.
